Algebra

The word "algebra" is a distortion of the Arabic title of a treatise by al-Khwārizmī about algebraic methods. In modern usage, algebra has several meanings.

One use of the word "algebra" is the abstract study of number systems and operations within them, including such advanced topics as groups, rings, invariant theory, and cohomology. This is the meaning mathematicians associate with the word "algebra." When there is the possibility of confusion, this field of mathematics is often referred to as abstract algebra.

The word "algebra" can also refer to the "school algebra" generally taught in American middle and high schools. This includes the solution of polynomial equations in one or more variables and basic properties of functions and graphs. Mathematicians call this subject "elementary algebra," "high school algebra," "junior high school algebra," or simply "school algebra," reserving the word "algebra" for the more advanced aspects of the subject.

19 Unit Komputer Di Sekolahku Tinggal Casing Saja

Baru sekali memakainya, tapi sudah ludes. Itulah nasib 19 Unit Komputer SMAN 1 Sengata Utara. Senin lalu, ketika pelajaran Komputer saya begitu senang karena Lab. Komputer di sekolahku mendapat 19 unit komputer tambahan. Peformanya pun bisa dibilang Sangat Baik. Namun, sayangnya saya tidak bisa memakainya lagi dikarenakan sudah ludes. Padahal, saya baru mau menginstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 dan Free Pascal keesokan harinya buat tujuan pembelajaran.

MALING yang satu ini bisa disebut pencuri cerdas! Pelaku cukup mempreteli suku cadang penting yang ada dalam 19 unit computer milik SMAN 1 Sengata Utara, Kutai Timur (Kutim).Yang notabene adalah sekolahku . Waktu menjalankan aksinya pun tepat, Senin (12/1) malam, pada saat hujan lebat mengguyur Sengata.

Pelaku membongkar dan mengambil suku cadang penting dan mahal berupa central processing unit (CPU), motherboard, hard disc dalam CPU. Sedangkan casing dan sejumlah perangkat dibiarkan berserakan. Namun, satu unit komputer utama dan infocus tidak diembat. Mungkin, mereka tahu bahwa itu barang yang sangat penting.

Menurut Kepala Unit Reserse dan Kriminal Polres Kutim, AKP Hendro Kusmayadi. Pelaku lebih dari dua orang dan merupakan pencuri professional serta familiar dengan dunia teknologi komputer. Sehingga mereka mengambil bagian pentingnya saja dan memudahkan mengangkutnya. Kerugian diperkirakan Rp 100 juta.

Dengan memiliki barang mahal di beberapa Lab di sekolahku. Keamanannya bisa dikatakan SANGAT PAYAH. Karena tidak ada yang menjaga, dan gerbang pintu masuk bagian selatan tidak ditutup. Ini merupakan sebuah pembelajaran yang berarti bagi warga sekolahku.
